The Global X S&P 500 Covered Call ETF (XYLD) follows a “covered call” or “buy-write” strategy, in which the Fund buys stocks in the S&P 500 Index, or investments with economic characteristics similar to those of the Index’s component securities (either individually or in aggregate), and “writes” or “sells” corresponding call options on the same index.

The Global X S&P 500 Covered Call ETF (XYLD) seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Cboe S&P 500 BuyWrite Index.
